19th Century Gilt Bronze and Crystal Regence Style Chandelier
- A very fine gilt bronze and crystal chandelier in the Regence style. The top depicting sun rays and clouds resting on a box that issues four arms that hold the body of the chandelier. The body of the chandelier features eight circular reserves (with semi spherical handcut crystal panels) ornate with a cresting and garlands on either side. Further down eight rectangular and curved cut crystal panels. On the bottom a cut crystal dome ending in gilt bronze finial. An identical chandelier (except for the bottom dome & finial) is featured as #2387 in the Charles Blanc (42 Boulevard Richard-Lenoir, Paris) catalog of 1904.
