Description
A large armchair profusely carved with pierced shell and floral garland cresting, 24 carat gold gilding.
These chairs were purchased from French and Company in New York, and given as a gift from his daughters to Mr. Charles Deering, founding member of the Agriculture Machinery Company and were also exhibited in the Speed Art Museum. They have been re-upholstered in tan velvet.
